In 1978, I opened Delaware’s first suburban law office to respond to the overwhelming need for legal services for the middle income consumer. The rich always could afford attorneys and the poor had free legal services. Middle income consumers always were left out in the cold. Since that time, our firm’s focus has been to help those in the middle. We’ve helped protect the rights of thousands of people in all areas of the state. I am proud of our track record and the help that we have given to middle income Delawareans.

A Message to Our Clients

LITIGATION: For over 40 years, I have represented consumers and small business owners in and our of Court in Delaware. I have been involved in hundreds of civil trials in all Delaware State Courts as well as the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. I have handled dozens of appeals for my clients in the Delaware State Courts. I helped thousands of people successfully file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy petitions and have successfully litigated numerous adversary actions. Additionally, I have handled numerous civil jury trials and workers’ compensation hearings for injured victims.

SMALL BUSINESS REPRESENTATION: I have consulted with numerous small businesses owners since 1978. My services have included: the formation and preparation of operating agreements of Limited Liability Companies, bringing and defending lawsuits for my business clients, reviewing leases and preparing commercial real estate legal documents, the filing of thousands of bankruptcy petitions to help small business clients reorganize their debts, and office consultations with small business owners about the best ways to stay out of legal trouble.

YOUNG ATTORNEY MENTORING: I have mentored many young lawyers through my years in practice. I have helped these attorneys go on to successful legal careers, both inside and outside my law firm.

DE LAW TV SHOW: in 1990 I began hosting a TV Show called DE Law. It is shown several times each week in New Castle County, DE on Cable Channel 28 and covers legal topics of interest to Delaware consumers and small business persons. See this link for more information about DE Law.

CLE: I am a frequent lecturer to various consumer and legal groups about civil litigation, management and bankruptcy.
